Fund Raising

Just one year after the foundation of the society we raised over £2200. This was done via a number of charitable events in the school over the year as well as generous donations:

1) Aid For Tibet Concert
2) Sponsored Fast
3) Sponsored Walk
4) Video Games Competition

This year we are planning to expand on these and raise even more.

Where Do The Funds Go?

The £2200 that we raised last year was not all spent; we are sponsoring a Tibetan child's education throughout his lifetime and therefore we need to save enough money for for this. The rest of the money was spent as follows:

1) Letter writing and stamp costs.
2) Direct donation to various Tibet charities including Tibet Relief Fund and ROKPA.
3) Indian earthquake relief fund.

We hope, with your help, that the success we had in our first year will continue. This section will be updated every year.
